Some car trunks can be closed automatically by pushing a button - and then cannot be opened from the inside of the trunk (unless you crawl to the driver's seat, of course). Caroline doesn't have to crawl that far because her car isn't locked and she can use the rear passenger doors but even getting out of the car can become a battle with time when she's too desperate to pee.
